English
Bulldogs need special grooming specific care to their breed. |

SKIN CARE |
English Bulldogs
and English Bulldog Puppies have sensitive skin so when bathing
your English Bulldog you will need to use shampoo that is Ph
balanced for dogs and we recommend a groomer's shampoo We have
had great results with an oatmeal shampoo A whitener shampoo is
also good for bulldogs with white coats. Bulldogs have a rich
coat and proper care will keep it in great condition.

EAR CARE |
An important
aspect in Bulldog grooming is keeping the ears clean at all
times.
By using a warm facecloth cleaning the ears can be simple for
day to day care. Their ears are sensitive so when cleaning you
will need to be very gentle and always making sure that your dog
is comfortable with this.
Q-tips are not recommended as dogs are unpredictable and have
very sensitive ears, an accident may occur that is damaging to
your English Bulldog
You can also purchase a solution from your local vet which
usually cost around10 dollars. It is a liquid
solution that you put in and gently massaging the ear so it gets
to the areas that you cant. Dogs will shake after this so you
might want to prepare to move cause the solution is getting rid
of the dirt that has accumulated in the bottom of the drum. A
second look after the solution is preferable to get rid of any
excess still left over. |

FACE CARE |
Bulldogs have
many wrinkles as we all know which makes them more adorable.
You will need to wash between these wrinkles with a face cloth
keeping these areas dry after washing so that bacteria doesn't
build up. Many infection can occur from bacteria so it is
important to clean between the wrinkles daily or twice a day.
Brushing your English Bulldog will also keep the coat in good
shape. A soft brush should be used cause as we mentioned before
the skin is sensitive. I know this sounds like a lot but keeping
your bulldog happy and healthy can be as easy as a few minutes
per day. |

NAIL CARE |
Nail clippings
are essential if you are preparing to show your Bully!
Regardless if you are showing your dog or not, short well kept
nails will keep the toes growing in proper formation and keep
your English Bulldog comfortable. Show dogs nails are kept short
and well manicured. A good way to trim them down is by using a
rotary tool such as the Dremel Motor tool. Start off slowly with
your new bully to get them comfortable with this method. You can
also purchase a pair of nail clipping cutters.

English Bulldogs
cannot reach their own tail and cannot sufficiently clean
themselves after going to relieve themselves.

health problems and spreading of disease. |
